Crystal World

One from my unpublished "back catalogue" today, from January 2007. It's a rather mystical one.

Crystal World

The future held within one single sphere,
As the mists part, and time's great seal
Opened. Shades of hope brought so near
Within the darkness, glimmers that conceal
And need interpretation. Heisenberg's stern
Reminder that the viewer changes the view,
And that when we are looking, we also turn
What we see into our reflections made anew;
Discern the hopes and fears, shadows within
The self. Cross the barrier of imagined time,
And open the mysterious portal of the djinn,
Where thirteen strikes the clock each chime;
Peer into the crystal world, and come to see:
Everything that you might ever come to be.
