This was inspired simply by looking outside at the dark, heavy rainclouds, and feeling the cooling breeze...

Darkling clouds across the sky
And sunny vistas fade to grey
Crows gathering, in murder fly
Sharpened beak awaiting prey
A wind is rising, branches sway
And time for shelter, time to hide
The time of cold, of cooling day
Now the time the Dryad cried
Some call this anger of the god
Electric flashes light the land
As if Zeus smote the earth with rod
Stretching out his mighty hand
The weather vane has turned again
Now is the time for storm and rain
