The Irish Times carries an article (7 hours ago at the time of writing this) which again raises a halt sign above any developments in Jersey, unless of course they finally settle out of Court. Hot on the heels of the Bahamas "freeze" on the development there, GSG in Vegas have returned to the Courts, which was likely (or if you'll excuse the Vegas related pun, on the cards) because the last time it was thrown out it was done so on a technicality relating to how the claims had been made, given the company structure with Harcourt and GSG. This case is set to go to the courts in February or March 2009. Watch this space!
Harcourt in counter-claim against GSG
Harcourt Developments will launch a counter-claim in a dispute over a €1bn Las Vegas property deal. The Irish property giant was responding to a move by Nevada developer Glen Smith & Glen (GSG), which was this week granted permission by a judge to re-submit a complaint in which Harcourt Developments and Pat Doherty were named as defendants...GSG has revived a complaint against Harcourt Developments after its initial case was dismissed by a Clark County, Nevada district court, in August. It is scheduled to be heard in February or March of next year.
