Dan-Air HS748 srs2, G-BEBA, parked on the main apron at the States of Jersey Airport; in the background can be seen the airport's control tower.

Jersey Airport is utilised by Air Atlantique as a base for DC-3 freight charter work. One of the airline's aircraft, G-ANAF, is seen here.

BEA Vickers Vanguards were a familiar sight on services to Jersey in the early-1970s.

Intra Airways Vickers Viscount, G-BDRC, taking-off from Jersey Airport and framing the general aviation apron and hangarage in the background. The operations of Intra Airways were taken over by Jersey European Airways in 1979.

A significant addition to the fleet of recently-formed Jersey European Airways (the airline was founded a year ago on 1 November 1979 when it took over the activities of Express Air Services and Intra Airways), has been two Embraer Bandeirantes. The aircraft, registered G-BHJY and G-BHJZ (the example seen here), are employed on short-haul services to Northern France.

A foreign visitor, in the form of Trans European Airways Boeing 737, 00-TEH Marcus Johannes, on finals to States of Jersey Airport.

Jersey Airport is an ideal venue for an air rally and every year a large number of light aircraft attend the event which is usually held in the first week of May. Piper Comanche, G-ARIE, heads this line-up of aircraft at the 1980 rally.

A frequent visitor to the States of Jersey Airport, is this colourful Aurigny Pilatus Britten-Norman BN-2A Trislander, G-AZU. Aurigny (the old French name for Alderney the airline's base) operates passenger and freight services within the Channel Islands linking Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney.
