Liddle Jersey?

"What a fabulous strutting little cock this man  truly is. Flying round the world... to deliver fatuous or anodyne pronouncements to the media at an extraordinary cost to the taxpayer, all the while considering himself the heir to the leadership of a great political party which in better times would have considered him a smug, jumped-up, risible little wonker who was maybe suitable for a very junior role in the Department of Work and Pensions, at best."

This was Rod Liddle's polemic against David Milliband in this week's "Spectator" under his article "Liddle Britain". He is a master of comic invective, and it is a rather savage but very funny article.

Curiously, it made me think of a Jersey politician, but I'm not going to name him, or say who it is. All I will say is that he is standing for election.

You'll have to make your own mind up!

Oz Lippy, there is only one Oz Lippy.

He should just scrape in for a champions league place.

Watch out the rumour is he wants the top job in Malaisey
